How It Works

Court Approval

Anyone wishing to take this course may do so. However, in order to have a traffic citation dismissed, or to receive any other type of court credit for this course, you must first have approval from the court. If you are unsure whether you have been approved by your court, contact the court clerk.

Course Content

This course has been carefully written by prosecutors and has been strategically designed to emphasize certain topics that are most commonly misunderstood by drivers. The material has been written to help clarify these topics in an enjoyable and entertaining manner. The course material is logically divided into 4 chapters. Each page of material is concise and presents the necessary information in an enjoyable and educational format without drowning the reader in unecessary legalease or detail. The most important points and topics are further emphasized throughout the course with interactive case-scenarios that the student will be required to complete before continuing with the course.

Chapter Quizzes

The course material is divided into four chapters. At the end of each chapter you will be required to take and pass a 10 question quiz before you can move on to the following chapter. These 10 questions are randomly selected from the chapter quiz bank. You must answer 7 out of 10 questions correctly to pass the quiz. If you do not pass a quiz, you may go back and review the course material and try again. The answer to each quiz question can be found in the course material. You may take a quiz as many times as necessary in order to pass although you may encounter different questions each time.

Final Exam

In order to complete the course you will be required to take and pass a 20 question comprehensive final exam. You must answer 14 of the 20 questions correctly to pass the exam. The final exam will cover topics from each of the chapters in the course and may contain questions previously encountered during the chapter quizzes. If you do not pass the final exam, you may go back and review the course material and try again. The answer to each final exam question can be found in the course material. You may take the final exam as many times as necessary in order to pass although you may encounter different questions each time.
